1. Mirror, Mirror, on the Wall, Who’s the Vainest of them all?
Stand in front of your mirror and tell yourself how beautiful you are before you begin the beautifying process! The key to making this work is BELIEVING every word of it!
2. Come on Baby! Show me some Teeth!
Give those pearly whites a moment of shine! You’d be surprised how this simple action can make you feel beautiful and make others feel good about you! A smile speaks a thousand languages…choose one; you are guaranteed to make someone else smile!
3. Drink Plenty of Water
That’s it? YEP…That’s it—two hydrogen and one oxygen molecule! Water keeps you hydrated, nourishes your skin and can help keep those unwanted calories away by acting as a filler. Remember to drink eight glasses a day!
4. Let’s Boogie!
Whether around the house or out don’t be afraid to cut a rug. Dancing keeps you limber and a fantastic way to burn calories and get exercise. So while you are home, turn on the iPod and dance like no one’s watching!
5. Make it fit
Despite your size, whatever you wear should compliment your shape. Invest in a properly fitted bra and shapewear to hide unsightly lumps and bumps. A smooth silhouette is something worthy of showing off.
6. Hug it out
Psychologists say that eight hugs a day are needed for maintenance. Hugging not only boosts the immune system and increases endorphins, but it also shows your loved ones that you care. Eight hugs a day will surely keep a smile on your face.
7. Prom Dress Appropriate!
On our gloomiest days, we throw on sweats or an unflattering outfit to match our moods. Wearing a bright dress, glamorous chandelier earrings or sexy platform pumps are an instant mood brightener. When you look good, you feel good!
8. Excuse Me Miss, Did I Compliment You Today?
Compliment others! Simply put: You aren’t the only one with doubts. Every woman is entitled to a jolt of self-confidence. Complimenting a co-worker on their new blouse or your best friend’s new haircut not only makes their day, but makes you feel better as well.
9. Laugh Out Loud
As obnoxious as you think your laugh may be, a chuckle or a tear jerking, knee slapping burst out loud laugh is sure enough to make you feel better about anything! So call up your girlfriend that always has something funny to say! Or put on a Kat Williams BLU Ray and laugh until you cry! It is also said that laughing prolongs your life for at least one more hour!
10. Get Up, Get Out and Do Something
You should, at a minimum, walk 10,000 steps a day. Now hang on don’t make that face! Its equivalent to 5 miles. If you are not an active walker, don’t attempt this all at once, break it up instead! Get up a little early and go for a stroll in the morning. The morning dew and fresh air will help you get ready to face the world. Then at lunch go again. Instead of driving to the store, take a walk! Wind down for the evening and take another. You would be surprised at how easy it is!
