Independent designer, Alice Huang has created Mei Vintage, a line of handbags made from unique and authentic vintage kimonos.  The line appropriately titled “Mei” (meaning beautiful in Chinese) is hand crafted in the U.S. using a mixture of new, organic and recycled materials.  By re-using materials to create sustainable accessories, a beautiful, one-of-a-kind item is created without waste while preserving the environment.
