Kinya Harte: Founder/Editor-in-Chief
With the intentions to offer the men and women of her generation an information center full of all things creative—be it make-up, fashion design, art, music, etc., Kinya conceived EXUDE Magazine in 2006 after graduating with a colligate in English and Journalism at the University at Buffalo. Making her mark in the fashion capital of the world, New York City, Kinya landed the gig of a lifetime as Redken 5th Avenue’s Fashion Insider, covering Spring 2009 Fashion Week. Since then, she has worked diligently to be accredited through Mercedes-Benz, Nolcha, Style 360, Couture Fashion Week and enforcing the brand of EXUDE digitally. “I love how we as human beings can dream up such beautiful things and bring them to life,” Kinya once said. ‘We are truly intricate creatures and it’s wonderful that we can showcase our abilities.”

Jamil Crews: Exec. Dir. Of Marketing/Lifestyle Editor
A graduate of the University at Buffalo With a background in Marketing and African American studies, Jamil got his start in the entertainment business as a promoter and Concert producer while attending the University at Buffalo, securing high profile acts such as Kanye West, Chris Rock, Keyshia Cole and a host of others. You can also catch him frequenting the nightlife scene as a deejay, where he is well known around Western New York and Southern Ontario, Canada. He has opened acts for stars such as Nas, Ludacris and Sean Paul. Jamil has a simple philosophy in life: Work hard now at doing things most people will not do so you can spend the rest of your life doing things that most people cannot do.

Tricia Grannum: Senior Fashion Editor
A graduate of the University at Buffalo, Tricia was keenly drawn to fashion and arts by involving herself in extracurricular activities and utilizing her studies in Communications. As President of the largest minority student organization on the university’s campus, Tricia actively worked with other student organizations, publicizing and covering events as well as coordinating many fashion and talent expos. In early 2009, she joined EXUDE Magazine as a freelance writer, covering fashion shows and other events in the Greater New York area. Proving to play an instrumental role in EXUDE’s creative direction, she has since became the Senior Fashion Editor. Tricia tries to live by the words of Dwight D. Eisenhower, in which he says, “Neither a wise nor brave man lies down on the tracks of history to wait for the train of the future to run over him…”
